Fieldstone Terrace & Paver Parking Court
Structure and drainage for a wooded hillside property
The project
What We Built
A shaded, sloping property was losing soil every heavy rain and had no firm surface to park or turn on. We rebuilt the bank as a stacked fieldstone terrace using stone that suits the wooded setting, tied a piped downspout and hillside drain into the wall system, and installed a tumbled paver court with a graded fall that carries water away from the house instead of across it.
Scope of work
- Stacked natural fieldstone terrace walls
- Subsurface drainage tie-in and outlet piping
- Tumbled paver parking court and turnaround
- Slope stabilisation and bed re-establishment
- Positive grading away from the structure

What Clients Say About Work Like This
Real feedback from real projects across North Georgia.
"The consultation was excellent — they walked the property with me, explained exactly how the retaining wall needed to be built, and gave a competitive price without cutting corners. The crew finished on time and the workmanship speaks for itself. I'd hire Heritage Landscape again without hesitation."
"Our back yard dropped off so steeply we couldn't use half of it. Heritage cut the slope, built a curved block wall and gave us a level patio at the bottom. Two heavy storms since and not a single wash-out. They clearly know their base work."
"Hand-set boulder wall on a wooded lot — it looks like it has always been there. They cared about how it sat with the trees, not just about finishing quickly."
